Trial Snapshot: Evaluating the impact of iron on piglet performance

Iron deficiency in piglets can compromise growth, increase vulnerability to infections, and lead to decreased survivability, making it a critical issue in the swine industry. To combat this, we have developed Piglet Boozt, a liquid iron supplement aimed at supporting piglet nutrition from pre-weaning through to post-weaning stages. Our recent trial evaluated the effectiveness of Piglet Boozt on various factors, including growth performance, frequency of diarrhoea, blood characteristics, and overall health. The results offer valuable insights into the role of targeted iron supplementation in piglet nutrition during the post-weaning period.
